Get an appointment within 1-3 business days of enrolling (if enrolling with PA Debb Dunn this will not start until Jan 2025) with our LITTLE TO NO WAIT TIME   appointment policy.  We will send you the link to schedule this after you have enrolled.   

• review your medical history and goals for hormone therapy
• receive an order for bloodwork if needed
• receive a prescription for hormones (bloodwork may be needed prior to this)

• this can include routine and urgent follow up appointments as medically needed
• connection with transgender and gender-diverse resources/community groups 
• medical letters of support for surgeries, procedures or gender affirming items when applicable

-via text and or patient portal as often as needed

*please note that the cost of bloodwork and prescriptions are not included in the RMD Proud program. You may use your health insurance for this. If you do not have health insurance our staff may be able to assist you in obtaining the following:   

 1. low cost labs ordered through one of our lab partners and

 2. hormones through various low or medium cost programs 

RMD Proud is a direct pay, virtual membership gender affirming hormone treatment program offered to adults in Maryland.  This concierge program focuses on the initiation and or maintenance of hormonal treatment of transgender and gender diverse (non-binary, genderqueer, gender non-conforming) adults to support their gender journey. 

Resolve MD's Gender Affirming Care program (RMD Proud) specifically focuses on the prescription, maintenance and monitoring of hormones for transgender and gender diverse individuals who wish to shift or change their physical appearance to align with their gender identity.  Your gender is valid and we are here to support your gender journey.

Patient-members in this program pay a monthly membership fee for medical care that focuses on hormonal therapy (contact us for current monthly rate).  The program includes unlimited text, medically necessary virtual health visits and follow up visits to assess, start, maintain and monitor hormonal treatment.  While RMD Proud is happy to collaborate with your primary care physician, this program does not replace your primary care physician or primary medical care. 

RMD Proud is largely done by telehealth however there may be instances if you live locally, we may decide that an in-person visit would be helpful. 

We will obtain your medical history, prescribe and follow the initiation, and or continuance of hormone therapy.  We will monitor your treatment which will require follow up visits and bloodwork at specific intervals.  We do not replace your primary care physician.  You can consider joining Resolve MD 's primary care medical membership program if you need a primary care physician.  

RMD Proud is a program designed to support and treat trans and gender diverse individuals with hormonal therapy.  Identifying with a gender that is different from one's sex is a normal part of the human experience.  People who are transgender and gender diverse deserve access to high quality affirming hormone care that supports their gender identity if they choose to transition.   RMD Proud offers this inclusive, welcoming and accessible program to combat the lack of access, cultural competence and knowledge that trans and genderqueer people often face in healthcare when transitioning.  As a part of RMD Proud you will enjoy little to no wait time for or at an appointment, an inclusive and affirming medical staff and a knowledgeable physician who is transgender.  RMD Proud provides hormonal treatment within the WPATH standards of care. 

RMD Proud does not accept health insurance.  The monthly fee is out of pocket. This is a concierge membership program where you can cancel within 60 days notice. Medications and labs you will use your insurance for.  If you do not have insurance we can assist you with various programs for low cost labs and possibly low/medium cost hormones. 

If you are on a stable regimen for over a year and simply need a physician to maintain your hormonal treatment, you would be able to take advantadge of a reduced priced - maintenance program.  Any patient member that needs more frequent bloodwork, adjustments in medication dosage or has just joined RMD Proud should be on the regular monthly pay schedule.
