My daughter had a surgery scheduled. Thankfully, we found Dr. Julius (Joi) Johnson-Weaver at Resolve MD. It was easy to book, pay for, and to get the test and the test results. My daughter's surgery went on as planned, which was a huge relief.

... Easy, 2 minutes and I don't have to leave my car. Did same day twice at least 9 months apart and both times they were on time! Highly recommend!

Highly efficient service and results by email in 1 hour. Took advantage of the "spring special" RT PCR.

PCR test. Also called a molecular test, this COVID-19 test detects genetic material of the virus using a lab technique called polymerase chain reaction (PCR). A fluid sample is collected by inserting a long nasal swab (nasopharyngeal swab) into your nostril and taking fluid from the back of your nose or by swabbing inside the cheek and back of mouth (oropharyngeal swab) to get a sample. The RT-PCR test for COVID-19 is the most accurate and reliable test for diagnosing COVID-19. A positive test means you likely have COVID-19. A negative test means you probably did not have COVID-19 at the time of the test. This test is best used at day 3-7 days of symptoms. When searching, where can I get fast PCR COvid-19 results, we are your answer! The most common test we use for this at Resolve MD/DM Covid-19 Test is DPTM. The DTPM COVID-19 RT-PCR Test has not been FDA cleared or approved; it has been authorized by FDA under EUA200086 for use by authorized laboratories; it has been authorized only for detection of nucleic acid from SARS-CoV-2, not for any other viruses or pathogens; and it is only authorized for the duration of the declaration that circumstances exist justifying the authorization of emergency use of in vitro diagnostics for the detection and/or diagnosis of COVID-19 under Section 564(b)(1) of the Act, 21 U.S.C. § 360bbb-b(b)(1), unless the authorization is terminated or revoked sooner.
Also called the Antigen test. This COVID-19 test detects certain proteins in the virus. Using a long nasal swab to get a fluid sample, some antigen tests can produce results in minutes (at Resolve MD detection in 15 minutes) but there's an increased chance of false-negative results — meaning it's possible to be infected with the virus but have a negative result. Depending on the situation, the doctor may recommend a PCR test to confirm a negative antigen test result.
Symptomatic individuals:
Best tested between day 1 and 5 of symptoms. *If you have symptoms and have a negative test the CDC recommends following this test with a PCR test.
Asymptomatic individuals:
If you are asymptomatic this test can have a high false negative rate and should not be used to give a false sense of security that you do not have coronavirus. Some studies show a false negative rate at high as 50 percent.
A COVID-19 diagnostic test is needed if:

It is difficult tell the difference between flu and COVID-19 by the symptoms alone because they have some of the same signs and symptoms. Specific testing could be helpful to tell what the illness is, confirm a diagnosis and contact your physician for possible treatment is needed.
Similarities in signs and symptoms of COVID-19 and FLU per the CDC
Some differences:
Flu
Most people who get flu will recover on their own in a few days to two weeks, but some people can experience severe complications, requiring hospitalization.
Covid-19
Some people are asymptomatic. If symptomatic, people can take over a week to recover from symptoms.
Anyone who has had COVID-19, even if their illness was mild, or if they had no symptoms can experience post-COVID conditions. (Post-COVID complications are a range of symptoms that can last weeks or months after first being infected with the virus that causes COVID-19 or can appear weeks after infection. )
RSV can infect anyone, but is most dangerous in infants and the elderly. Its symptoms are similar to those of the common cold. They tend to run their course with only mild intensity in adults and older children over a few days. In infants and elderly, symptoms tend to be more severe, and can include fevers and wheezing. Some cases may require hospitalization.
If you are experiencing wheezing, other breathing difficulties, shortness of breath or lethargy these are severe symptoms and you should not order this test - you should contact your physician urgently or go to the hospital or urgent care center.or if these severe symptoms develop while waiting for the results of your test from Resolve MD - you should contact your physician urgently or go to the hospital or urgent care center.
We do not test clients under two years of age.
